This is the second installment of the Intellectual Downpour series, which is a part of Tent Talks. The Intellectual Downpour series is composed of solo episodes that are oriented around a particular academic topic. I try to present each topic in an accessible, objective manner, but do not hesitate to give my own views on each topic as well. In this episode, I discuss the philosophy of consciousness. Specifically, I define consciousness and then talk about the primacy of consciousness and what is known in philosophy as the hard problem of consciousness.
